Jess's Tree Swing is here

[mominindianapolis]

I guess it's good we have a day to assemble before Jess arrives - LOL! She will be able to settle right in when she arrives tomorrow.
According to UPS tracking, there was another box due to arrive today, but our UPS man tends to be a bit hasty and has had to return and make a 2nd delivery before. If not - I'll know that things will all arrive tomorrow. Now Jess will be here in time to start the new homeschool term with dd! Maybe we should order the treatseat so she can sit up to the table with dd for school.
I like the black/white striped one from the store better than the one in the catalog though I think . . .
Meanwhile, dh and ds are helping to assemble the tree swing and Marisol will try it out when they finish. I think it's nice to get dad and brother involved. They are very supportive of dd's AG collection (and she supports the lego collection ds has too!)

Is it as nifty as it seems? Post pics if you can!

It is rather nifty. I can't post pic's now. My dh always helps me, but maybe in a few days.

I can tell you that it comes in a box about the size of the AG horse box. The leaves are more realistic than I anticipated. Elizabeth has been sitting in it all afternoon. I have concluded that she must have managed to visit St. Augustine.

The jungle sounds the tree makes are fun for dd. The colors are quite realistic and my dh and ds had no trouble assembling it. I will be interested to hear what others think.
